Look for the right program to run each type of file.

There are cases where you don't know which program to use to open certain files and therefore can't execute or display them. The solution to this problem is called ShelExec.

ShelExec is a basic utility, completely free, which you could say is the intermediary between the files and programs that run them. The reason is that, when you send a file to ShelExec, it is responsible for finding the program that executes them and, once found, it opens them with it.

ShelExec is activated from the Windows command line. It's interesting to programmers that it comes with the source code, which will let them know how it's been done.
